(CNE) Certified Negotiation Expert: A significant component of value added by real estate agents/brokers is their ability to effectively negotiate and influence the other side to agree to acceptable terms. That said, very few agents have dedicated sufficient (if any) time towards learning effective negotiation skills. The CNE designation is awarded through the Real Estate Negotiation Institute. Through the CNE training, we develop specific real estate negotiation strategies for both sides of the transaction, buying and selling. The skills we obtain through this process give us a considerable advantage over agents who have opted against dedicating the necessary time toward mastering negotiation strategies. Completing the CNE training and acquiring this designation greatly increased the value I provide to my clients.
